GROUPS GUIDELINES
A group is formed by a minimum of 10 visitors, and up to 25 adults or up to 30 children under 18 years old and youths under 26 years old living in the EU.
We advise booking the tours on the online ticketing service. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or if you need information about payment via bank transfer, by using this address: billetterie@musee-rodin.fr.

How to book a self-guided tour for a group:
You can complete your booking in 3 steps:
- Each group must purchase a reservation fee according to the area they wish to visit (Hôtel Biron + Garden of Sculptures or Temporary Exhibition + Garden of Sculptures). This reservation fee allows the group to choose a day and a time slot for the visit. There is a free reservation fee for people with a Pass Éducation (a card delivered to teachers in French public schools). If a group wishes to visit the whole museum on the same day (Hôtel Biron + Garden of Sculptures + Temporary Exhibition), they can purchase a combined reservation fee. Please be aware that you need to take into account the time of the visit in the first area in order to book the second time slot at the right time.
- Then the visitors must purchase their entrance tickets. These tickets are sold for 11€ (27% discount on the 15€ ticket) on the online ticketing desk, and visitors with free admission* (https://www.musee-rodin.fr/en/plan-your-visit/plan-your-visit/are-you-entitled-free-admission) do not need to purchase any tickets. Furthermore, there is one free accompanying adult included with each adult group. For children from 3 to 5 years old, a free accompanying adult is included per 7 children. For children from 6 to 10 years old, a free accompanying adult is included per 9 children, beside adults with a Pass Éducation who already benefit from free admission.
- If one person in the group wishes to comment the visit, the group must follow the rules surrounding the ability to speak and the purchase of a pack of audiophones is mandatory (headsets for the visitors and 1 microphone to comment the visit). Only for groups with children under 10 years old are the audiophones not mandatory.
Examples:
- For a group of 15 adults (with one accompanying adult) in the Hôtel Biron + Garden of Sculptures, with audiophones: 35€ (reservation fee) 11€*15 (individual entrance tickets with the group fare) + 30€ (pack of audiophones) = 230€.
- For a group of 30 students under 18 years old, including 3 accompanying adults, with a visit of two areas (Hôtel Biron + Garden of Sculptures + Temporary Exhibition), with audiophones, without the Pass Éducation: 50€ (combined reservation fee for 2 areas) + 22€ (2 tickets for the additional accompanying adults, free admission for the children under 18 years old), 27€ (pack of audiophones at the reduced rate) = 99€.
The purchase of the reservation fee alone is mandatory prior to the visit in order to book it. The entrance tickets and the pack of audiophones can be purchased afterwards, either online or directly at the museum on the day of the visit, according to the number of attending visitors. The individual tickets will then be sold at the full rate of 14€.
If the total number of visitors exceeds the maximum number of visitors allowed per group, two reservation fees must be paid, and the group must be split in two before having access to the locations. The online ticketing system does not allow you to select two reservation fees at the same time; therefore, you will need to select a date and hour to book the first time slot, then repeat the operation a second time for the other reservation fee.

Arrivals and lateness of the groups:
Groups must arrive at the entrance of the museum at least 15 minutes before the beginning of their visit to get ready in time, according to their booking. The time slot indicated on the reservation fee is the entrance time in the Hôtel Biron (or in the temporary exhibition, as the case may be), and not the time of arrival at the entrance of the museum. The group can choose to visit the Garden of Sculptures before or after this time slot.
If the group is late:
- From April to September:
If the group arrives with a delay of less than 2 hours, it does not need to purchase another reservation fee, but access to the Hôtel Biron or the Temporary Exhibition cannot be immediately guaranteed.
If the group arrives with a delay of more than 2 hours, the purchase of another reservation fee is mandatory.
- From October to March:
If the group arrives with a delay of less than 4 hours, it does not need to purchase another reservation fee, but access to the Hôtel Biron or the Temporary Exhibition cannot be immediately granted.
If the group arrives with a delay of more than 4 hours, a new reservation fee must be paid.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- I am a teacher, am I entitled to a free reservation fee?
Free reservation fees are only made for holders of "Pass Éducation" which is a national French document. If you don't have this specific card, your group needs to buy a reservation fee.
- My group is composed of both children and adults, how should I book a tour?
When a group is composed of minimum 10 adults, then the adult rate is applied for the whole group. Then, there is a limit of 25 persons in the group, and the online booking must be made via the page “Self-guided group”, “Adults”.
- I want to book more than one reservation fee. I added two reservation fees in my basket, but I cannot proceed to the payment: I am automatically redirected to the home page of the website. How can I book my tour?
Our website does not work if you try to book two reservations fees at the same time.
First, you need to add only one reservation fee to your basket and click on “next” to then choose the date and the time of the visit.
Once you are connected to your client account, a summary of your reservations will display the day and time booked for this first reservation fee. You will then be able to click on the option “Continue your purchase” on the bottom left of the page.
You will then be redirected to the home page of the online ticketing system, and you will be able to book you second reservation fee by following the same steps. This one will be added to the first reservation fee previously bought.
You can repeat this process for as many reservation fees as you wish.
